Meet Our Health Coaches

Natalie Richardson
Lead Health Coach
My name is Natalie Richardson and I’m one of the health coaches at Its Time Texas. One of my favorite things about being a health coach is supporting my clients and providing a listening ear. I believe that one of the components of happiness is self care and a sense of community. With health coaching I’m able to provide a little support in reminding how important it is to prioritize our health and wellbeing in order to be happy.
My overall goal is to watch my clients provide support to others so we may all benefit from a healthier and happier community one day. I especially love supporting moms and reminding ourselves how very important it is to prioritize self care and what that may look like. I always feel fireworks in my heart when moms tell me how they were able to nurture and recharge themselves free of guilt and how wonderful they feel afterwards!
Aside from eating vegetables and fruits daily and drinking plenty of water, some of the ways I enjoy taking care of myself are engaging in nurturing and fulfilling activities every day. I enjoy early morning walks, painting, working with animals, working with clay, reading and plenty of time spent with family and friends. I’m a wife, and a mother of two young daughters and I work full-time, so it is important that I take care of my physical and mental wellbeing every day to be the best-version of myself for my family and my clients.

Cecilia Martinez
Health Coach
My name is Cecilia Martinez and I am one of the health coaches at It’s Time Texas. My philosophy and process when it comes to my health coaching style is to treat everyone with respect. I try to put myself in my client’s shoes to really understand what they are going through to guide them as best as I can to their goal.
One of my main goals with health coaching is to remind everyone that health is not a one size fits all, we are all different and that is why everyone’s health goals and journeys are different and unique. Keeping everyone’s lifestyle and reality in mind, my other main goal is to help my clients achieve some form of health consciousness or mindfulness; even the slightest form of this helps tremendously in working on and reaching our goals. The best part of my job is listening to my client’s joy when they tell me that they met their goal and are starting to see and feel changes.
To keep my health in check I try to keep a good balance of making healthy and conscious choices about 80% of the time and enjoying everything else 20% of the time. I wouldn’t call myself a complete foodie but I love trying new foods and restaurants so I make sure that I allow myself to enjoy that time with my friends and family. Not restricting myself completely of what makes me happy helps me with my physical health but it also helps my mental health. With two toddlers it can be hard to remember that my health is important too, but I make sure to give myself some me time every night even if it’s for 30 minutes to rest and recharge for the following day by doing simple activities like reading, talking to a friend, or even watching something I enjoy on TV.
Explore the Evidence
Despite evidence showing that lifestyle changes can help prevent, and sometimes even reverse, chronic health conditions, many adults struggle with adopting and maintaining healthy behaviors – even those recommended by their doctors.
This white paper introduces research calling attention to gaps in traditional healthcare models and the potential for our free health coaching program to serve as a bridge for providers and their patients on the road to better health.
In this white paper, you’ll discover:
- The relationship between lifestyle factors and chronic disease prevalence
- Factors influencing treatment adherence and health behavior change among patients with chronic illness
- Challenges to healthcare providers working with patients to manage chronic conditions
- Actionable strategies for aligning with patients to inspire lasting behavior change
- Data highlighting the effectiveness of our free health coaching model as a resource for patients and providers
