Celebrating Health, Creating Memories

As the holiday season approaches, It’s Time Texas eagerly anticipates Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to generosity. Our statewide nonprofit health organization, committed to diminishing the risk of preventable diseases and enhancing health access in Texas, invites you to join us in making a lasting impact as we approach the year’s end. This blog post will delve into our mission, emphasizing the significance of health, and provide ways for you to contribute to fostering a healthier Texas.

Central to our mission is the belief that health is the cornerstone of enduring memories and resilient communities. This festive season, we invite you to give the gift of health by supporting our goal to raise $25,000. Your contribution will empower families statewide on their quest for better health, ensuring that every Texan can revel in the holiday season with their loved ones.

The Significance of Giving the Gift of Health

  • Enriching Family Moments: Health enables families to share meaningful moments, preserving holiday traditions across generations.
  • Curbing Preventable Diseases: Your donation will underpin our statewide initiatives to reduce the risk of preventable diseases, fostering the well-being of our communities.
  • Expanding Health Access: By supporting It’s Time Texas, you play a pivotal role in broadening health access for all, making essential resources and services available to every Texan.
  • Stand with individuals on their health and wellness journey! Paula didn’t have support to reach her health goals until she found It’s Time Texas’ Telehealth Coaching. With the support of her Health Coach and “cheerleader,” she was able to meet her goals and even set new ones! Will you stand with individuals like Paula on their health and wellness journey? Your gift of $50, $25, or even $10 will create a healthier future for ALL! Donate today.

Ways to Engage: Today, we call upon all our health champions to stand up and join the movement for a healthier Texas. Here are several ways you can get involved:

  • Amplify our Mission: Reach out to five friends not yet connected with It’s Time Texas, and share our mission to construct a healthier Texas. Encourage them to become part of the movement. Please share our posts and this blog on your social accounts to help us spread the word!
  • Share Your Personal Health Journey: Your personal health story holds immense value. Share it to inspire others on their journey to positive change.
  • Join the It’s Time Texas Community Challenge, starting January 8th, 2024. Earn points for healthy habits, connect with your community through the app, and be recognized for your commitment to a healthier Texas. Download the app today and embark on the journey to wellness!
  • Healthy Holiday Recipes: Add a healthy twist to your holiday gatherings with budget-friendly, wholesome recipes. Share them with your loved ones and promote health-conscious choices during festive celebrations.
  • Gift for Health: Dedicate a gift in memory or honor of a beloved individual. Your contribution enhances the health and well-being of all Texans while commemorating the cherished memories of those special individuals. Make a donation today!
  • Double Your Impact: Ask your employer whether they offer a gift-matching program. This simple action can amplify the impact of your donation, significantly contributing to our initiatives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your steadfast commitment to saving lives, reducing preventable diseases, and enhancing health access for all Texans. Your generosity is the driving force behind our crucial work, and we encourage you to consider making a donation this Giving Tuesday.
