Welcome to the Sweet Summer Habits Program—a free summer healthy habit program designed to empower families, educators, and communities to prioritize their well-being. Program Overview

Exploring Healthy Habits (Phase 1 – June 1st to July 25th)

First, the program will kick off with families, schools, and communities embarking on an 8-week journey exploring weekly themes focused on building and learning about healthy habits. Each week, participants can dive into interactive habit tracker sheets, informative blogs, and educational sheets that align with the theme of the week. Plus, we’ll spotlight Olympic athletes whose stories inspire us all to embrace healthier lifestyles.

Implementing Healthy Habits (Phase 2 – July 26th to August 11th)

Then, as the summer heats up, so does the challenge! Phase 2 of the program coincides with the Olympic schedule, offering families daily healthy habits challenges. From staying hydrated to getting active outdoors, participants can earn medals as they achieve their wellness goals, fostering a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie.

Who Can Use This Program?

This program is open to parents, educators, librarians, and community recreation center leaders alike. Community organizations committed to promoting health and well-being within their communities are welcome to download and share these resources. So, whether you’re a parent seeking to instill healthy habits in your children or an educator looking to empower your students, the Sweet Summer Habits Program has something for everyone.
