A: Yes! All adults can be physically active as long as you select the appropriate types and amounts of activity for your abilities. A good goal is at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity each week, in episodes of at least 10 minutes. Walking, dancing, swimming, water aerobics, jogging, aerobic exercise classes, bicycle riding, raking or pushing a lawn mower, tennis and golf (without a cart!) can all be great physical activities for seniors.
